Volume Five, Chapter Eighty-Three
”I’ve been thinking for a long time that I really shouldn’t be here. I thought that it was because both my parents were dead, and I was the only one left behind, but somehow I think it’s different.”
”How is it different?”
”I don’t know. You see, I don’t remember.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
”It means what I said. But, even if I don’t remember, there are people who will remember me. So now, I’ve come to feel that I’d really like to stay here.”
